The park has an area of 32,7 thousand ha., of which land part consists of 21,5 thousand ha. and about 11,1 thousand ha. of coastal sea waters. At the moment, The Slovinian National Park is the third, biggest, national park in Poland, after Biebrza and Kampinos National Park.
