Slupsk town hall in photographs
An architectural symbol of the turn of 19th and 20th century for Slupsk city is its town hall. Splendid building skyline together with high dominant over extensive square tower was built on former Woolen Market situated on western site of Slupsk Old Town. The building of municipality refers to other Gothic buildings of the city with construction of the tower, architectural details and the redness of bricks. It isn't, however, a neo-Gothic building in its clean form; massive pillars of town hall, interiors refer to Romanism, while rich scenery ornamentation are attributes of recessionals architecture. Historic value of town hall underlines its original, originating from buildings times, equipment, e.g. elements of woodwork, pictures, glassworks, furniture, lighting and extant details of interiors.
