On a cloudy New Year’s Day, the banks of Slupia and Mlynowka were crowded by fishermen who opened a winter season of salmon fishing. This year's competition took place in a cloudy, a little frosty weather and a low water level in the river. During the fête, 24 caught fish were reported, more than in the previous year. The first place and a Cup of the Slupsk District Head for the biggest competition’s fish went to Marek Sadowski (a brown trout 95 centimetres in length). The fête was co-organised by the City Hall and the District Administration Office in Slupsk.
